My strategic management MBA discussion inspired this post.
Sony's OLED TV
Width: 3MM
Neat attribute: OLED technology can be printed on flexible surfaces meaning you can basically bend your TV in half to fit through a tight space or to avoid light glare.
Pros over non-OLED:
1: super thin and light weight
2: can be viewed at many angles and does not need a backlight
3: power consumption is much lower
4: organic layers help to produce a brighter, more brilliant display
Samsung and LG have already developed their own versions but are not yet available to the public for purchase. In addition, Sony's is out of stock so at the moment OLED technology is limited.
