My new jewelry obsession is Manita Amanita. Girlfriend is really creative. In addition to being a 2005 graduate of Parsons, Manita is the sister of Sretsis designer, Pim Sukhahuta. Both sisters are extremely talented designers. I will definitely be daydreaming about the swirl tails ring tomorrow in class. I also think the Heartbeat ring would make a perfect wedding band. A ring that simple will never go out of style. Below are photos from various collections. To view entire collections and more photos, check out her website

Next stop, Reserva Amazonica-TambopataI Just opened my daily email from Urban Daddy and found this little gem. The hotel is located in the rain forest adjacent to Tambopata National Reserve in southern Peru. Inkaterra is the name of the company who developed this amazing hotel as well as two others, Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel and La Casona Cusco. Inkaterra's goal in creating these hotels in the heart of nature is to promote sustainable tourism. At Reserva Amazonica you have the option to stay in a bungalow or the Canopy Tree House. Since I am obsessed with tree houses, I would 100% opt to sleep in the trees.

All I want for Christmas is this Atlanta home. This is my dream house. The Zoller Team has it listed for 3.985 millon. Pocket change right? And yes, the orange room is inspired by Hermes. Just genius.

If you haven't heard yet, Christopher Kane designed a line for Topshop that will be available this September. A preview of the collection is hard to find but blogger and fashion editor, Caroline, posted the picture you see below. I am really excited because everything looks fabulous thus far. The second and third photos are from Kane's collaboration on the Versus by Versace line from Spring/ Summer '09. In my opinion, Christopher Kane is an extremely talented designer because he creates pieces that are both relevant and innovative. See for yourself on WWD.

Soooo excited about my recent Ebay purchases. Check them out below. The first is a silver claw holding a piece of Carborundum. Carborundum is said to absorb chaotic thoughts, enhance the memory, and increase creativity. The next piece is 4 pendants, 2 black onyx and 2 clear quartz.  Clear quartz is known to keep the immune system healthy, promote loyalty, and protect from bad energy. Black Onyx is said to to transform negative energy into positive, relieve stress, and heal past relationships.

Loving these Giuseppes. Available on PiperLime

Quick and easy DIY project that only takes about 30 minutes. Take an ordinary piece of clothing and handsew on some studs or cool tarnished beads. I bought my beads at AC Moore Arts and Crafts. My inspiration was a mix between Alexander Wang and Vena Cava. The best part about DIY is that you can create something that is one of a kind. Now I can throw on this tank with my favorite leopard bra, ripped skinnys, platform wedges and I out the door I go.

The following images were taken from the online version of Nomenus Quarterly. Nomenus Quarterly is a publication that is available online four times a year as well as in print. It features spreads of fine art, photography, and fashion. The images below feature pieces by Jean Paul Gaultier from 2008 and are extremely inspiring.
