Welcome to my house...
Interior Decorator: myself
*Note: Walls are not painted because the owners (my parents) do not agree with my color choices. I don't see what the big deal is since they don't live here but if I get permission from the Gods I am going to paint the living room a deep purple and my bedroom a light grey with a silvery iridescent sheen. I had to note that because the white walls really bother me.
As a child, I was very visual. Arithmetic and dodgeball were not really my forte. If I had it my way, I would have spent all day in art class. My favorite books were Babar the Elephant and anything illustrated by Graeme Base. I basically wanted to live in Babar's house and invite all the animals from Graeme Base books over for tea and dress up. At work yesterday, while researching Spring 2011 trends, I remembered how much fun I had sitting in my dad's library inventing stories for all the characters in my head. After work, I called my mom and had her dig them up for me. She couldn't find the Babar books but hopefully they will turn up. Below are images from the Graeme Base books I own and obsess over.
