I am really inspired by some of  the details in the BCBG Maz Azria Collection for spring. I love the idea of filling in cut outs with fun prints. I am not huge fan of too much color but I do like some color. The idea of a black dress balanced with a little splash of an abstract neon print is brilliant. I also love the contrasting abstract lines used frequently in the collection. Overall, I loved the collection. It was balanced, cohesive, and relevant. Images via Style.com.
I also loved all the innovative, edgy details that were incorporated in the Yigal Azrouel Collection for spring.

What I really want now are winter sunglasses. I am not sure if any sunglasses manufacturers make sunnies just for the winter but they should. I would love me some velvet covered wayfarers or leather covered aviators. You can't get much more Amelia Earhart than that.... unless you want to rock a pilot's helmet but only a select few could pull that off. Check out these leather covered vintage Ray Ban Wayfarer's available on Ebay by seller, Richmun. Richmun also listed turquoise mosaic Ran Ban's. SOOO sick!!!! Check out other sunglasses he has for sale here. Reallly cool one of a kind pieces.
Backpacks are so back. Karmaloop has a fresh selection. Favorites are below:
1: Numero Backpack by Joyrich 2: Black Box Metro Backpack by Gravis 3: Tonal Backpack by Freshjive 4: The Buckhunter Backpack by LRG 5: Panzer Rucksack by Mishka 6: Loveless Knapsack by Mishka 7: Drew Backpack by LeSportsac
This is my best friend and her bf's new puppy, Cooper. Cutest fur ball ever. He is a Woodle (Wheaton Terrier/Poodle). This was taken while I was babysitting him while mom was in class. We were on our way to Doggie Style Boutique to buy a Skull print winter sweater and bones.
Found some really cool jewelry on Starsandinfinitedarkness. If you haven't heard of it, I'll fill you in. It is basically a site that allows young, independent fashion designers to sell their pieces. The cool thing about this site is that most of these designers are new and just want exposure so they offer unique and beautiful items for a low price due to the fact that they have yet to be discovered by the big players. I raided the site and picked some of my favorites to show you below. 1. Modern Rock Big Bling Stack for $240 by Metalicious. 2. Chaotic Geometry Bracelet for $80 by Wear-and-Tear. 3. Squeezed Chains Bracelet for $80 by Wear-and-Tear. 4.Rope Regalia Wristlet for $85 by B Jewelry. 5. Ms Pac Man/ Ghost Ring for $68 each by Tiny Armour. 6. Vampire Teeth Black Cut Out Skirt for $75 by Chandi.
The triangle stud earrings I found for $50 on Byboe and had to post because it is the perfect alternative to the solid stud jewelry that seems to be available everywhere now.

He did it again. The Blueprint 3...enough said.

Sorry for the delay in posts. I was away for the holiday and then my internet went out for the 800th time this year because Comcast sucks (not that anyone needed a detailed explanation). Anyway, since I have been deprived of my life (aka my computer) I just got really excited and had to post these ahhhhmazing, lust-worthy items. Enjoy but don't blame your credit card bill on me :-). 1. Sequin lapel blazer by AKA New York available on Shopbop. 2. The Studded Mini by Balmain. Available on theOutnet. 3. The Dita by Cesare Paciotti. 4. New Wave Suede Jacket by Rebecca Taylor available on Shopbop. 5. Tailored Metal-Stud Jacket by Alexander Wang available at Saks. 6. Black Diamond Studs by AESA available at Barneys Coop. 7. Celtic Tank by Vena Cava available at Barneys Coop.

I have been looking for over-the-knee boots for fall/winter but could not find any for a reasonable price that are of good quality... until today. The Rianna Over the Knee Boots by Free People are ahhhhmazing and only $198. That is cheap compared to the studded Balmains, Choos, Wangs, and Loubs I have been lusting after. If you are looking for something with a heel, check out the Nathan Over the Knee Slouch Boot by Free People. They are only $178 and come in black and grey. For those of us who really want the platform, try the Sable Platform Shaft Boot by Calvin Klein. They have subtle studding details and are a reasonable $238.95 on Endless.com. My favorite pair so far are the Trudy Long Cuff Buckle Platform Boots by Vera Wang Lavender Label. They are available on Shopbop for $525. They are perfect for me because they go with everything (leggings, cut-off shorts, a mini skirt, and skinny jeans). If I am going to splurge I am going to make sure that they go with everything and are fairly classic, not too trendy.

It is true that you need a car that is functional for daily use but I believe that you also need a car that is completely unnecessary yet fabulous. Like Chanel, these cars are classics. They age gracefully and will never go out of style. The first is a 1960 Jaguar XK 150 S 3.4 OTS Roadster. The second is a 1966 Aston Martin DB6 Coupe for the James Bond in you. The Jag's asking price is $128,500 and the Aston Martin is sold. Check out the eye candy below. Images via Heritage Classics.

Thank you Yves Saint Laurent for making my trips to the nail salon far less frequent. Introducing the Nail Touch Lacquer Pen Brush which is basically just nail polish in pen form. No more polish spills and I can fit all my favorite colors in my purse or car console. My only complaint is that it is only available in a few light colors which is disappointing since black, grey, and red/orange are my staple colors. None the less it is a great product and beyond functional for on the go women. Available for $26 at Barneys, Bergdorfs, QVC, Niemans, and Bloomingdales.
